English: Val de Zinal with Glacier de Zinal in the Pennine Alps, Valais, Switzerland. In the background the summits of Besso (3.668 m), Trifthorn (3.728 m), Wellenkuppe (3.903 m), Ober Gabelhorn (4.068 m), Mont Durand (3.712 m) and Grand Cornier (3.961 m). Photo was taken on the way from Petit to Grand Mountet.
Deutsch: Der Zinalgletscher im Val de Zinal genannten oberen Val d'Anniviers in den Walliser Alpen, Schweiz. Im Hintergrund die Gipfel von Besso (3.668 m), Trifthorn (3.728 m), Wellenkuppe (3.903 m), Ober Gabelhorn (4.068 m), Mont Durand (3.712 m) und Grand Cornier (3.961 m). Auf der orografisch linken Seitenmoräne liegt die Cabane du Petit Mountet (2.142 m). Die Aufnahme entstand am 4. August 2009 auf dem westlichen Hüttenweg zwischen Petit und Grand Mountet. Es handelt sich um eine Panoramaaufnahme aus vier Einzelbildern.
