Català: pàgina 1 del primer volum: apareix el títol i el subtítol de la capçalera acompanyat d’un dibuix que simbolitza el patriotisme de l’època. Es tracta d’un pagès amb indumentària de festes, amb la barretina, i dels símbols de Catalunya, l’escut amb les quatre barres, i de la producció catalana, una aixada, una falç i un caduceu al terra que signifiquen la ruïna de les fonts de riquesa. Al dibuix l’acompanyen uns versos alusius: “Per terra observa l’Catalá ab tristura Sa indústria, son comerç y agricultura”. Aquest rodolí és com un lema de la campanya econòmica empresa per Lo verdader Catalá
