Descripció
English: The villages are located in Qiubei County, which is in Yunnan Province in the south-west of China. The landscape is dominated by Karst topography, lakes and caves. More than 500,000 tourists, mostly Chinese are visiting this beautiful places per year. The project by YEDI and YEPD was started to reduce the pollution of the lake caused by a lack of sanitation . Photo by P. Feiereisen in August 2009.
