Gerres japonicus és una espècie de peix pertanyent a la família dels gerrèids.[5]

Hàbitat[modifica]
És un peix marí, demersal i de clima temperat.[6]
Distribució geogràfica[modifica]
Es troba al Pacífic occidental: el Japó, la Xina i, probablement també, el sud de Corea.[6][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18][19]
Observacions[modifica]
És inofensiu per als humans.[6]
