Lampanyctus alatus és una espècie de peix de la família dels mictòfids i de l'ordre dels mictofiformes.
Morfologia[modifica]
Depredadors[modifica]
És depredat per Pseudopentaceros wheeleri,[4] Astronesthes similus (a Mèxic), Lagenodelphis hosei (Filipines) i Stenella longirostris (Filipines).[5]
Hàbitat[modifica]
És un peix marí i d'aigües profundes que viu entre 40-1.500 m de fondària.[2][6]
Distribució geogràfica[modifica]
Es troba a l'Atlàntic oriental (des de Portugal fins a Sud-àfrica),[7][8][9] a l'Atlàntic occidental (des del Canadà[10] fins al Golf de Mèxic,[11][12] i des del Brasil a l'Argentina), a l'Índic,[13] al Pacífic occidental (des de Taiwan[14][15] fins a Austràlia)[16][17] i al Mar de la Xina Meridional.[2][18]
