Lampanyctus australis és una espècie de peix de la família dels mictòfids i de l'ordre dels mictofiformes.
Morfologia[modifica]
Depredadors[modifica]
És depredat per Trachurus capensis, Lepidorhynchus denticulatus (a Austràlia), Macruronus novaezelandiae (Austràlia),[4] Genypterus capensis i Pterodroma incerta.[5][6]
Hàbitat[modifica]
És un peix marí i d'aigües fondes.[2]
Distribució geogràfica[modifica]
Es troba a tota la Terra entre 33°S i 44°S.[2][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18]
