Leptagonus decagonus és una espècie de peix pertanyent a la família dels agònids i l'única del gènere Leptagonus.[2]

Descripció[modifica]

  • Fa 21 cm de llargària màxima.[3][4]

Alimentació[modifica]

Menja crustacis i poliquets bentònics i pelàgics.[5]

Depredadors[modifica]

És depredat per Raja radiata.[6]

Hàbitat[modifica]

És un peix marí, demersal i de clima polar (83°N-43°N, 117°W-36°E) que viu entre 0-930 m de fondària (normalment, entre 75 i 230).[3][7][8]

Distribució geogràfica[modifica]

Es troba al Canadà, Groenlàndia, Islàndia, Noruega i Rússia.[3][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17]

És bentònic.[18]

Observacions[modifica]
