Lycodes brevipes és una espècie de peix de la família dels zoàrcids i de l'ordre dels perciformes.[4]

Morfologia[modifica]

Depredadors[modifica]

És depredat per Gadus macrocephalus (a Alaska),[7][8] Atheresthes evermanni,[9] l'halibut del Pacífic (Hippoglossus stenolepis) (Alaska), l'halibut negre (Reinhardtius hippoglossoides) i Reinhardtius stomias (Alaska).[10]

Hàbitat[modifica]

És un peix marí, de clima temperat i demersal que viu entre 25-973 m de fondària.[5][11]

Distribució geogràfica[modifica]

Es troba al Pacífic nord: els Estats Units (incloent-hi Alaska), el Canadà i Rússia.[12][13][14][15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22]

Observacions[modifica]

És inofensiu per als humans.[5]
