El licodi polar o Lycodes polaris és una espècie de peix de la família dels zoàrcids i de l'ordre dels perciformes.

Morfologia[modifica]

Alimentació[modifica]

Menja petits invertebrats bentònics, principalment amfípodes.[6]

Hàbitat[modifica]

És un peix marí, de clima polar i demersal que viu entre 5-300 m de fondària.[4][7]

Distribució geogràfica[modifica]

Es troba al llarg de les costes àrtiques d'Àsia i de l'Amèrica del Nord: Alaska, el Canadà, Groenlàndia i Rússia.[8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17]

Costums[modifica]

És bentònic.[18]

Observacions[modifica]

És inofensiu per als humans.[4]
