Hàbitat[modifica]
És un peix associat als esculls rocallosos i de clima temperat que viu fins als 60 m de fondària.[3][5]
Distribució geogràfica[modifica]
Es troba al Pacífic nord-occidental: des del nord del Japó fins a l'oest del mar de Bering.[3][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16]
Longevitat[modifica]
La seua esperança de vida és de 12 anys.[17]
Observacions[modifica]
És inofensiu per als humans.[3]
