Neomerinthe amplisquamiceps és una espècie de peix pertanyent a la família dels escorpènids.

Hàbitat[modifica]
És un peix marí, demersal i de clima tropical que viu a la plataforma continental.[5]
Distribució geogràfica[modifica]
Es troba a Malàisia, les Filipines, Indonèsia (el mar de Timor), el mar d'Arafura, Papua Nova Guinea i el nord-oest d'Austràlia.[5][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16]

És inofensiu per als humans.[5]
