Parascorpaena mossambica és una espècie de peix pertanyent a la família dels escorpènids.[2]

Descripció[modifica]

Hàbitat[modifica]

És un peix marí, associat als esculls de corall i de clima tropical que viu fins als 18 m de fondària.[3]

Distribució geogràfica[modifica]

Es troba des de l'Àfrica oriental fins a les illes de la Societat, les illes Izu, Austràlia i la Micronèsia.[3][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18][19][20][21]

Costums[modifica]

S'amaga durant el dia i només s'aventura a sortir durant la nit.[3]

Observacions[modifica]

És verinós per als humans.[3][22]
