Pinjalo pinjalo és una espècie de peix de la família dels lutjànids i de l'ordre dels perciformes.

Morfologia[modifica]

Alimentació[modifica]

Menja invertebrats bentònics i planctònics.[6]

Hàbitat[modifica]

És un peix marí de clima tropical i associat als esculls de corall que viu entre 15-60 m de fondària.[4][7]

Distribució geogràfica[modifica]

Es troba des del Golf Pèrsic[8] fins al Golf de Papua (Papua Nova Guinea)[9] i Taiwan.[4][10][11][12][13][14][15]

Ús comercial[modifica]

Es comercialitza fresc o en salaó.[4]
