Protomyctophum choriodon és una espècie de peix de la família dels mictòfids i de l'ordre dels mictofiformes.
Morfologia[modifica]
Alimentació[modifica]
Sembla que es nodreix de Champsocephalus gunnari.[1]
Depredadors[modifica]
A les Illes Malvines és depredat per Lampris immaculatus,[3] a l'Antàrtida per Eudyptes chrysolophus i Pygoscelis papua, a les Illes del Príncep Eduard per Arctocephalus gazella i Arctocephalus tropicalis,[4] i a les Illes Crozet per Aptenodytes patagonicus.[5][6]
Hàbitat[modifica]
És un peix marí i d'aigües profundes.[1]
Distribució geogràfica[modifica]
Es troba a tots els oceans entre 36°S i 51°S.[1][7][8]
