Pterotolithus lateoides és una espècie de peix de la família dels esciènids i de l'ordre dels perciformes.

Hàbitat[modifica]
És un peix de clima tropical i bentopelàgic.[4]
Distribució geogràfica[modifica]
Es troba a l'oceà Pacífic occidental: Indonèsia i Malàisia.[4][6][7][8][9][10]
Ús comercial[modifica]
Es comercialitza fresc i en salaó, incloent-hi la bufeta natatòria assecada.[11]
Observacions[modifica]
És inofensiu per als humans.[4]
