Sebastes itinus és una espècie de peix pertanyent a la família dels sebàstids i a l'ordre dels escorpeniformes.[4][5]
Descripció[modifica]
Fa 40 cm de llargària màxima.[6][7]
Reproducció[modifica]
És de fecundació interna i vivípar.[8]
Alimentació[modifica]
El seu nivell tròfic és de 3,09.[9]
Hàbitat i distribució geogràfica[modifica]
És un peix marí, demersal, d'aigües fondes[10] i de clima temperat, el qual viu al Pacífic[6] nord-occidental: el Japó (com ara, l'illa de Hokkaido[11] i les prefectures de Hyōgo[12] i Niigata[13] -incloent-hi l'illa de Sado[14]- a l'illa de Honshu)[15][2][6][16][17][10][18][19][20] i la mar Groga.[21][22][23][3][7]
Observacions[modifica]
És inofensiu per als humans[7] i el seu índex de vulnerabilitat és alt (65 de 100).[24]
