Sebastes wakiyai és una espècie de peix pertanyent a la família dels sebàstids i a l'ordre dels escorpeniformes.[4]
Descripció[modifica]
Fa 24 cm de llargària màxima.[5][6]
Reproducció[modifica]
És de fecundació interna[7] i vivípar.[8]
Alimentació[modifica]
El seu nivell tròfic és de 3,09.[9]
Hàbitat i distribució geogràfica[modifica]
És un peix marí, demersal i de clima temperat, el qual viu al Pacífic[10] nord-occidental: el Japó[10][11][12][13] (incloent-hi les illes Ryukyu)[14] i Corea del Sud.[15][16][17][3][6]
Observacions[modifica]
És inofensiu per als humans[6] i el seu índex de vulnerabilitat és moderat (40 de 100).[18]
