Snyderina yamanokami és una espècie de peix pertanyent a la família dels tetrarògids i a l'ordre dels escorpeniformes.[3][4]
Descripció[modifica]
Fa 24 cm de llargària màxima.[5] En estat viu és de color marró clar amb taques petites i irregulars de color taronja als flancs del cos. Aletes pectorals i pelvianes de color negre blavós. Totes les aletes tenen nombroses franges marronoses i fosques que travessen els seus radis i amb espais intermedis de color taronja. Petits punts negres en algunes de les espines i radis tous de l'aleta dorsal. 7 radis branquiòstegs. 25-26 vèrtebres.[6]
Alimentació[modifica]
El seu nivell tròfic és de 3,41.[7]
Hàbitat i distribució geogràfica[modifica]
És un peix marí, demersal (fins als 90 m de fondària)[5] i de clima tropical,[8] el qual viu al Pacífic occidental:[9] el Japó[5][10][11][12][13][6] (des de la badia de Sagami fins Amami Oshima[14] -una de les illes Amami a la prefectura de Kagoshima-[15] i les illes Ryukyu),[5][16] la mar Groga,[17] la Xina,[18][19][20] Taiwan[21] (incloent-hi les illes Pescadors),[22][23] el mar de la Xina Meridional,[24][25] el mar de Banda[26][27] i Indonèsia.[26][28][2]
Observacions[modifica]
És inofensiu per als humans[8] i el seu índex de vulnerabilitat és de moderat a alt (45 de 100).[29]
