Hàbitat[modifica]
És un peix de clima tropical (20 °C-30 °C)[4] i demersal.[2]
Distribució geogràfica[modifica]
Es troba des del Golf Pèrsic fins a la Badia de Bengala, l'est d'Austràlia, el sud del Japó i la Xina.[2][5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22][23][24]
Ús comercial[modifica]
És venut fresc als mercats.[2]
Observacions[modifica]
És emprat a la medicina xinesa tradicional.[25]
