Xenocephalus elongatus és una espècie de peix pertanyent a la família dels uranoscòpids.[3]
Descripció[modifica]
Hàbitat[modifica]
És un peix marí i batipelàgic que viu entre 35 i 440 m de fondària.[4][6]
Distribució geogràfica[modifica]
Es troba des del Japó (incloent-hi les illes Ryukyu)[7] fins al mar de la Xina Oriental i Indonèsia.[4][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15] [16]
Observacions[modifica]
És inofensiu per als humans.[4]
