És un peix d'aigua dolça i de clima tropical.[4]
Distribució geogràfica[modifica]
Es troba a Àsia: conca del riu Mekong.[4][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16]
Ús comercial[modifica]
És venut fresc i, de vegades, assecat o salat.[17]
