És un peix de clima tropical i bentopelàgic.[5]
Distribució geogràfica[modifica]
Es troba al Pacífic Occidental: el Japó, les Filipines, Indonèsia i Nova Guinea.[5][7][8][9][10][11]

És inofensiu per als humans.[5]
