Paragobiodon xanthosoma és una espècie de peix de la família dels gòbids i de l'ordre dels perciformes.

És monògam.[6]

Hàbitat[modifica]

És un peix marí, de clima tropical i associat als esculls de corall.[4]

Distribució geogràfica[modifica]

Es troba a Austràlia, Chagos, Fiji, Indonèsia, el Japó (incloent-hi les Illes Ryukyu), Kenya, l'Illa de Lord Howe, les Illes Marshall, Nova Caledònia, Papua Nova Guinea, les Filipines, Samoa, les Seychelles i Taiwan.[7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22][23][24][25][26][27][28][29][30][31][32]
