Pelates sexlineatus és una espècie de peix pertanyent a la família dels terapòntids.[5]

Descripció[modifica]

  • Pot arribar a fer 15 cm de llargària màxima.[6][7]

Alimentació[modifica]

És omnívor.[8]

Hàbitat[modifica]

És un peix marí i d'aigua salabrosa, bentopelàgic i de clima tropical que viu a les àrees costaneres.[6]

Distribució geogràfica[modifica]

Es troba a Austràlia,[9][10][11][12] Hong Kong,[13] l'Índia,[14] Papua Nova Guinea,[15] les illes Filipines,[16][17] Taiwan, Tailàndia[18] i el Vietnam.[19][20][21][22][23][24]

Observacions[modifica]

És inofensiu per als humans.[6]
