Ventrifossa macropogon és una espècie de peix de la família dels macrúrids i de l'ordre dels gadiformes.
Morfologia[modifica]
Hàbitat[modifica]
És un peix d'aigües profundes que viu entre 439-1000 m de fondària, tot i que, normalment, ho fa entre 500-600.[4]
Distribució geogràfica[modifica]
Es troba des de la Guaiana fins al Carib, el Golf de Mèxic i el nord-est de Florida (Estats Units).[4]
