Fa 47 cm de llargària màxima.^[6]^[7]

Hàbitat[modifica]

És un peix marí, demersal i de clima temperat que viu entre 50 i 121 m de fondària.^[6]^[8]^[9]

Distribució geogràfica[modifica]

Es troba al mar Groc, el mar de la Xina Oriental, el mar del Japó, el mar d'Okhotsk i des de la costa pacífica del Japó fins al nord de les illes Kurils.^[6]^[10]^[11]^[12]^[13]^[14]^[15]^[16]^[17]^[18]^[19]^[20]^[21]

És inofensiu per als humans.^[6]
