Protomyctophum normani és una espècie de peix de la família dels mictòfids i de l'ordre dels mictofiformes.

Morfologia[modifica]

Alimentació[modifica]

Sembla que es nodreix de Champsocephalus gunnari.[4]

Depredadors[modifica]

És depredat per Micromesistius australis (a Nova Zelanda), Macruronus novaezelandiae (Nova Zelanda), Salilota australis (Illes Malvines)[6] i Symbolophorus boops.[7]

Hàbitat[modifica]

És un peix marí i d'aigües profundes.[4]

Distribució geogràfica[modifica]

Es troba a tots els oceans entre 36° i 43°S.[4][8][9][10][11][12][13][14]
