English: Panoramic view (span of approx. 150°) of the city of Cusco, Peru. The city, located near the Sacred Valley of the Andes mountain range, is the capital of the Cusco Province, has a population of 428,450 inhabitants and its elevation is around 3,400 metres (11,200 ft). The site was the historic capital of the Inca Empire from the 13th until the 16th-century Spanish conquest and was declared in 1983 a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Español: Vista panorámica (de aprox. 150° de ángulo) de Cusco, Perú. La ciudad, situada en las proximidades del valle Sagrado, parte de los Andes, es la capital de la provincia de Cuzco, tiene una población de 428.450 habitantes y está situada 3.400 m sobre el nivel del mar. El lugar fue capital histórica del Imperio Inca desde el siglo XIII y hasta la conquista de los españoles en el siglo XVI. Fue declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad de la UNESCO en 1983.

NOTE: This image is a panorama of Cusco consisting of 7 frames that were merged or stitched in Adobe Lightroom. As a result, this image necessarily underwent some form of digital manipulation. These manipulations may include blending, blurring, cloning, and colour and perspective adjustments. As a result of these adjustments, the image content may be slightly different from reality at the points where multiple images were combined. This manipulation is often required due to lens, perspective, and parallax distortions.
