This is a plane chart with north at 90 degrees and containing a latitude bar. The eastern Mediterranean is shown as an inset superimposed on north Africa. The title cartouche shows fur trappers, a bear and animal skins. The maker cartouche shows cherubs with cross-staffs. Other decoration includes ships, animals, figures and coats of arms.
