«Прямоугольное полотнище с отношением ширины к длине 2:3, воспроизводящее композицию герба муниципального образования „Тыайинский наслег“ в зелёном, синем, жёлтом и белом цветах».

Описание герба: «В пересечённом зелёном и лазоревом поле поверх сечения золотой пояс, вверху — ельчатый, внизу — волнистый, сопровождаемый двумя тонкими серебряными волнистыми поясами; всё сопровождено внизу золотой рыбой-карасём».
