Deutsch: Der Marktplatz zu Hannover 1834. Farbige Lithografie von Rudolf Wiegmann, 18,7 x 27,1 cm, 1834. Der Marktplatz wird im Hintergrund durch das Alte Rathaus begrenzt. Über der Ratsapotheke erhebt sich der Turm der Aegidienkirche. Das Haus mit dem Treppengiebel rechts im Vordergrund ließ Tönnies Limburg 1558 erbauen. Die Marktkirche links im Vordergrund besitzt noch ihr gotisches Portal, das im 17. und 18. Jahrhundert verändert wurde. Auch ihre Anbauten sind 1834 noch vorhanden. Literatur: Diese farbige Lithographie wurde mit einer Bildbeschreibung veröffentlicht in: Helmut Plath: "Hannover im Bild der Jahrhunderte." Verlagsgesellschaft Madsack & Co., Hannover. 3., erweiterte und verbesserte Auflage, 1966. Seiten 34-35.
