Arhynchobatis asperrimus és una espècie de peix de la família dels raids i de l'ordre dels raïformes.[1]

Morfologia[modifica]

Reproducció[modifica]

És ovípar[4] i les femelles ponen càpsules d'ous, les quals presenten com unes banyes a la closca.[5]

Hàbitat[modifica]

És un peix marí i d'aigües profundes que viu entre 90-1.070 m de fondària.[2]

Distribució geogràfica[modifica]

Es troba a l'oceà Pacífic sud-occidental: és un endemisme de Nova Zelanda.[2][6][7][8][9]

Observacions[modifica]

És inofensiu per als humans.[2]
