Descripció[modifica]
Reproducció[modifica]
Té lloc durant la primavera i l'estiu. Assoleix la maduresa sexual en arribar al primer any de vida.[6][9][10]
Alimentació[modifica]
Menja principalment insectes i petits crustacis.[11][6]
Depredadors[modifica]
És depredat per Platycephalus speculator, Phalacrocorax melanoleucos i Phalacrocorax sulcirostris.[12]
Hàbitat[modifica]
És un peix d'aigua dolça i salabrosa, pelàgic i de clima temperat.[6]
Distribució geogràfica[modifica]
És un endemisme d'Austràlia.[6][13]
Observacions[modifica]
És inofensiu per als humans.[6]
