English: A digital representation of a crest badge suitable for use by a member of Clan Douglas.
The copyright for this representation of the crest badge is held by the author of this image (see author and permission below). In Scotland the usage of coats of arms is governed by legal restrictions, independent of the status of the depiction shown here. The crest and motto elements of the crest badge are always the heraldic property of an individual, usually the clan chief. Though a crest badge can be freely represented, it cannot be appropriated, or used in such a way as to create a confusion with or a prejudice to its owner.
