Jenynsia alternimaculata és una espècie de peix pertanyent a la família dels anablèpids.[5]
Descripció[modifica]
- Pot arribar a fer 5,5 cm de llargària màxima.
- 7-9 radis tous a l'aleta dorsal.
- 9-10 radis tous a l'aleta anal.[6][7]
Reproducció[modifica]
Hàbitat[modifica]
És un peix d'aigua dolça, bentopelàgic i de clima tropical.[6]
Distribució geogràfica[modifica]
Es troba a Sud-amèrica: l'oest de l'Argentina i el sud de Bolívia.[6]
Observacions[modifica]
És inofensiu per als humans.[6]
