Nibea microgenys és una espècie de peix de la família dels esciènids i de l'ordre dels perciformes.

Hàbitat[modifica]
És un peix de clima tropical i bentopelàgic.[4]
Distribució geogràfica[modifica]
Es troba a l'oceà Pacífic occidental central: el nord i el nord-oest d'Austràlia.[4][6][7]
Observacions[modifica]
És inofensiu per als humans.[4]
