The flag used here as the flag of Bouvet Islad is purely a fantasy flag. It was created on the internet and has no actual use or connection with the real world. The flag used here as the flag of Svalbard is the banner form of a coat of arms once proposed for Svalbard. The coat of arms and the banner (flag) was never approved and has always only existed on paper. It died with the proposal, is never used and is unknown both to inhabitants of Svalbard and the rest of Norway.
