My name is Amnon Shavit, I live in Haifa, Israel.

I do not speak Catalan, but owing to my basic knowledge of French, Spanish (Castilian) and Portuguese, I manage to understand a certain portion of it (when written. I don't really know how it sounds). I guess I will be able to understand and contribute more after some time of reading Catalan.
