Vor Leningrad. Mai 1942. Vidkun Quisling bei den norweg. Freiwilligen. Norwegens Ministerpräsident beglückwünscht einen ZZ- Ustf., der sich als Freiwilliger mit seinem norwegischen Kameraden im Einsatz vor Leningrad besonders hervortrat und mit dem (NK?) ausgezeichnet wurde. 1942/05.

Norsk nynorsk: Svein Blindheim: Nordmenn under Hitlers fane : dei norske frontkjemparane (1977): «Ved hovudkvarteret for kampgruppe Jeckelen etter utdeling av E.K.-Jernkorset, mai 1942. Frå venstre bataljonsjef Quist, minister Riisnæs og ministerpresident Quisling helsar på kaptein og bataljonsadjutant Gottenborg, løytnant Braset, fenrik Bjørn Østring og Obersharführer Arne Nielsen. Quisling skulle sjølv ha delt ut E.K., men kom for seint slik at Obergruppeführer Jeckelen måtte stå for utdelinga.» (Østring og Nielsen er utenfor bildeutsnittet her. På bildet hilser Quisling på Braset.
