Amblyrhynchichthys truncatus és una espècie de peix de la família dels ciprínids i de l'ordre dels cipriniformes.

Alimentació[modifica]
Menja fitoplàncton, zooplàncton i algues bentòniques.[3]
Hàbitat[modifica]
És un peix d'aigua dolça i de clima tropical.[1]
Distribució geogràfica[modifica]
Es troba a Àsia: conques dels rius Mekong i Chao Phraya, Sumatra, Borneo[4] i el riu Maeklong.[5][1][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18][19]
Ús comercial[modifica]
Els exemplars grossos es comercialitzen frescos.[20]
