El calendari de Gezer és una petita tauleta calcària amb inscripcions, descoberta el 1908 per l'arqueòleg irlandès R. A. Stewart Macalister en l'antiga ciutat canaanita de Guèzer a Jerusalem, està datada del segle X BCE, tot i que l'excavació no era estratificada[1] i la seva identificació durant les excavacions no es va donar en un "context arqueològic segur", presentant certa incertesa per la datació.[2]
Els estudiosos es troben dividits entre si la llengua és fenícia o hebrea i si el guió és fenici (o protocananeu) o paleohebreu.[3][4][5][6]
Inscripció
El calendari està inscrit en una placa calcària i descriu períodes mensual o bimensuals i atribueix a cadascun una tasca, com la collita, plantar, o collites específiques.
