És depredat per Perissodus microlepis[4] i Plecodus straeleni.[5][6]
Hàbitat[modifica]
És una espècie de clima tropical entre 24 °C-26 °C de temperatura.[7][1]
Distribució geogràfica[modifica]
Es troba a Àfrica: llac Tanganyika.[1][8][9][10]
