És àmpliament conegut per les seves col·laboracions amb MF Doom (com a Madvillain), J Dilla (com a Jaylib) i Freddie Gibbs (com a MadGibbs). El seu nom artístic són les sigles de Mind Altering Demented Lessons In Beats.
