Archamia leai és una espècie de peix pertanyent a la família dels apogònids.[4]

Descripció[modifica]

  • Pot arribar a fer 9 cm de llargària màxima.
  • 8 espines i 9 radis tous a l'aleta dorsal i 2 espines i 12-14 radis tous a l'anal.[5][6]

Hàbitat[modifica]

És un peix marí, associat als esculls costaners[7][8] i de clima tropical que viu entre 1-15 m de fondària.[5][9]

Distribució geogràfica[modifica]

Es troba al Pacífic occidental: Nova Caledònia[10] i Austràlia (incloent-hi l'illa Norfolk).[11][5][12][6]

Observacions[modifica]

És inofensiu per als humans i de costums nocturns.[13][5]
