Arothron immaculatus és una espècie de peix de la família dels tetraodòntids i de l'ordre dels tetraodontiformes.

Morfologia[modifica]

  • Els mascles poden assolir 30 cm de longitud total.[1]

Hàbitat[modifica]

És un peix de clima tropical i associat als esculls de corall que viu entre 1-17 m de fondària.[1][2]

Distribució geogràfica[modifica]

Es troba des del Mar Roig i l'Àfrica Oriental (incloent-hi la costa meridional de Sud-àfrica) fins a Indonèsia i el sud del Japó.[1][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22][23][24][25][26][27][28][29][30][31][32]

No es pot menjar, ja que és verinós per als humans.[33][1]
