El Campionat d'Europa de Futbol sub-21 és una competició de futbol organitzada per la UEFA, que es juga cada dos anys. Aquesta competició es juga des de 1978. Va ser precedida per una competició sub-23 del 1967 fins al 1970. La sèrie de campionats actuals va començar el 1972.

Premis
[modifica]Jugador del Torneig
[modifica]El premi al Jugador del Torneig, anteriorment conegut com a Golden Player ("Jugador d'Or"), s'atorga al jugador que ha jugat el futbol més destacat durant el torneig. Des del 2013, l'Equip Tècnic de la UEFA ha seleccionat un Jugador oficial del Torneig.[1]
Màxim golejador
[modifica]El premi al màxim golejador del Campionat d'Europa sub-21 de la UEFA, anteriorment conegut com a "Bota d'Or", s'atorga al jugador que marca més gols durant el torneig. Des del torneig del 2013, els que acaben subcampions a la votació reben els premis "Bota de Plata" i "Bota de Bronze" com a segon i tercer màxims golejadors del torneig, respectivament.
