Ansinyà/Ancinyà

Segons «Ansinyà». Gran Enciclopèdia Catalana. Barcelona: Grup Enciclopèdia Catalana. s'escriu amb c i no amb s. La forma occitana és Ancinhan i la catalana Ancinyà (tot i que a [l'Adasig] escriuen Ansinyà, però suposo que és un error). Si no hi ha alguna referència en sentit contrari, proposo fer el reanomenament a la forma amb c.--Pere prlpz (disc.) 23:59, 4 set 2014 (CEST)

Please look at the article on the WP:FR, there is a reference : Ansinyà is the traditional north catalan spelling, not the modern one, and it should be kept, IMO. This is by the way, a problem on on WP:CA, where for some reason the modern spelling has been chosen for many towns of Catalunya nord, while the traditional spellings are still used today.   • A la viquipèdia en occità fan servir oc:Ansinhan.
  • La font en català que cita la Viquipèdia en francès és de fa 22 anys.
  • El Nomenclàtor toponímic de la Catalunya del Nord també diu Ansinyà/Ansinhan.
• Ancinyà/Ancinhan:
  • Als mapes de l'ICC fan servir "Ancinhan".
  • L'Enciclopèdia Catalana fa servir Ancinyà («Ansinyà». Gran Enciclopèdia Catalana. Barcelona: Grup Enciclopèdia Catalana.) amb una vacil·lació a l'article de l'Adasig.

A més, segons la viqui en francès la rel etimològica és un nom romà "Ancinus" o "Ansinus".

En vista de tot plegat:

• Ambdues formes tenen referències (i motius) i s'haurien d'esmentar a l'article.
• Tot i el pes de l'Enciclopèdia, el Nomenclàtor toponímic de la Catalunya del Nord em fa pensar que no hi ha un motiu prou poderós per reanomenar l'article.--Pere prlpz (disc.) 11:37, 5 set 2014 (CEST)

Lluís Basseda explains in Toponymie historique de Catalunya Nord that problem : we have the traditional spellings used in Catalunya nord, and the modern ones which appeared when catalan spelling was normalized. Both are correct, but Basseda, who always gives the 2 spellings in his book, recommends keeping the traditional ones which were the ones used by the local population. Moreover, the modern spelling can make disappear the original diftong, as for example in Morellàs (modern spelling) vs. Maurellàs (trad. spelling). Culex (disc.) 12:52, 5 set 2014 (CEST)
