És un peix de clima temperat (34°N-23°N) i bentopelàgic.[1]
Distribució geogràfica[modifica]
Es troba a l'oceà Pacífic nord-occidental: els mars Groc i de la Xina Oriental.[1][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15]
Observacions[modifica]
És inofensiu per als humans.[1]
