Nanci Griffith (Seguin, 6 de juliol de 1953 - Nashville, 13 d'agost de 2021), nom amb què es coneix Nanci Caroline Griffith, va ser una cantant, guitarrista i compositora estatunidenca, que va créixer a Austin i residia a Nashville (Tennessee).[1]
La seva carrera va abastar una varietat de gèneres musicals, predominantment country i folk, i el que ella anomenava "folkabilly". Griffith va guanyar un Premi Grammy al millor àlbum de folk contemporani el 1994 per Other Voices, Other Rooms,[2] en el que canta les cançons dels artistes que més la van influir. L'any 2008 va guanyar el premi Americana Trailblazer, atorgat per l'Americana Music Association.[3]
