Potamorhina altamazonica és una espècie de peix de la família dels curimàtids i de l'ordre dels caraciformes.[4]
Morfologia[modifica]
Hàbitat[modifica]
Viu en zones de clima tropical entre 22 °C - 26 °C de temperatura.[6]
Distribució geogràfica[modifica]
Es troba a Sud-amèrica: conques dels rius Amazones i Orinoco. Ha estat introduït al nord-est del Brasil.[5]
